GIVING BACK to the communities in which we live was a principal our parents taught by example:
When Traverse City became a new affiliate in April 2017 for the National Alliance on Mental Illness, Debbie immediately joined the chapter. The goal is to provide education and support to families in need. We all experience emotional ups and downs from time to time caused by events in our lives. Mental health conditions go beyond these emotional reactions and become something longer lasting. They are medical conditions that cause changes in how we think and feel. They are not the result of personal weakness, lack of character or poor upbringing. Loved ones languish in jails, emergency rooms and the streets. Debbie is passionate about working to remedy these injustices, raise awareness and ending the stigma around what is a biological disease.
Amy Travis, Financial Advisor, joined our team on May 16 th. She comes with over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry. She will utilize her extensive background in administration and operations to help our team provide caring customer service and personalized financial plans for our valued clients. Amy is a Traverse City native and lives in Kingsley with her husband Randy. They have two grown daughters, Katie and Lilly.
